Reading Glasses Shopper: Review and Giveaway

If you are anything like me, you spend long periods of time looking at your computer monitor or reading. After a while, my eyes begin to get tired and I find myself straining to see clearly. If I do not take a break to rest my eyes, I know I am heading right into my headache zone. Every year, I visit my optometrist to have my eyes examined and every year, I know I am going to walk out of there with a prescription for reading glasses, but I don’t. It is usually always the same scenario, assurance from my optometrist that my vision is fine and the recommendation to just pick up a pair of non-prescription reading glasses.

I had yet to do so, after all these years, until I was provided the opportunity to review a pair of glasses from Reading Glasses Shopper. Reading Glasses Shopper is part of the Affordable Style network and carries over 300 different styles of glasses, including their popular sun readers, for under $20 a pair. With over 300 styles to choose from, I had a tough time choosing, but I love a wide selection and took my time deciding.

Just like all the other Affordable Style network sites, Reading Glasses Shopper website is very user friendly. You can browse glasses by gender: men’s reading glasses or women’s reading glasses. You can also shop by style or power of glasses. And for those of us who need a little more help, there is the top rated, best sellers, and new arrivals sections.

So, what glasses did I choose? I decided on The Sue in +1.00 power, currently priced at $13.56.

They are available in different color frames. I chose the black and gray frame. They are very sophisticated, yet spunky complete with 10 rhinestones down both arms. I received my glasses within a few days, very quick delivery. Now that I have them, I have no idea how I lived without them. When they came in, I tried them on, checked myself out in the mirror a few times. I still cannot get used to seeing me in glasses. That night, I was in my bedroom, reading a Consumer Reports magazine. It was late and I was straining my eyes to finish reading an article on cell phones. All of a sudden, I remembered I had these glasses. I jumped out of bed, retrieved them off my desk and was absolutely amazed how much these made a difference! I no longer have to strain my eyes and in the long run, I am probably going to save my vision. For under $20, being able to find a cute pair of glasses that will help me preserve my eyes? It is completely worth every penny!

Buy it! Take advantage of Reading Glasses Shopper’s current sale of 15% off sitewide and free shipping with orders of $30 or more. All glasses are priced under $20! Stay up to date with Reading Glasses Shopper on Facebook.
